You have probably landed here because you have seen our giveaways on Instagram, and are getting excited with us as we give away products from companies that make a positive impact on the world with their businesses. We love businesses that give back, which is something we are passionate about.
But we hope you will keep coming back because we have so much to share with you.
So why “Magic is Essential”? Well, because we believe in magic. You know…that deep Narnian magic. The kind of magic that makes you believe anything is possible. The kind of magic that says that all those dreams you’ve always had are more than just dreams…they are possibilities. They are dreams that are there for a reason…not just to taunt you, or to feel unreachable…but to inspire you, and to call you to action. The quote under the title of our blog is a summary of something C.S. Lewis once said (you know…the author of The Chronicles of Narnia). Somewhere in time, at some point in our lives, we decided that we shouldn’t ask too much of God. We should be content with the little things, and not ask for more. Why do we do this? Why do we expect so little of a God who created the universe? Why do we think we are bothering him when we ask him for the desires of our hearts?What kind of father gives his child a dream, but then doesn’t help that child achieve that dream? How much more does the Father of Creation want to bring his children’s dreams to fruition?!
So right here, at the beginning of this blog, I’m going to say it…Stop it! Stop saying that your dream will never see the light of day. Stop saying that you’re the exception to the rule. Stop it!
The only person/thing getting in the way of your dreams is yourself. You might try to say that it’s time, or money, or family…but the truth is, all of those things fit within your dream. You just need to make room for them. You need to kick the negativity to the curb and start believing that your dreams might just have a chance at becoming reality. Only then will those dreams have a chance to start growing and fleshing themselves out.
So stop expecting so little of the Father. Start expecting more than you ever dreamed of. And you might just be opening the doors to something unbelievably amazing.
This is why magic is essential. When you begin to believe in magic, you begin to believe that you might just see a dream or two or twenty, come true.
